Often, the hardest sports in the world are those that require the ability to have endurance, strength, skill, and mental toughness. Mixed martial arts, wrestling, boxing, gymnastics, ice hockey, and many other sports, such as handball, badminton, football, and even chess, appear at the top of the list. In these sports, physical talent is only one of the requirements: you have to train nonstop to recover. They’re difficult because such factors as risk of injury, reaction time, and stamina come into play. One of the hardest things to train for and master is that athletes competing at high levels in these sports simply become athletes who must push beyond their limits daily.
