John CenaParticipantHas anyone here actually had real success using an Online Singles Ad to get paying users? I’ve been testing different ways to promote my dating platform, and honestly, it’s been a mix of small wins and wasted budget.
At first, I thought running general ads would be enough. More clicks should mean more signups, right? Not exactly. I was getting traffic, but most of it wasn’t converting into paid members. It felt like people were just browsing with no real intent. That’s when I started wondering if I was targeting too broadly.
So I tried focusing more on the “singles” angle instead of just “dating.” The messaging was more direct. I talked about serious connections, clear benefits, and who the platform was actually for. What I noticed was interesting. The traffic volume wasn’t massive, but the signups felt more intentional. People stayed longer, completed profiles, and some even upgraded.
What didn’t work for me was vague ad copy. If the ad sounded too generic, it attracted random clicks. When I made it specific and honest, it filtered out the freebie hunters.
I’m not saying this is a magic switch, but being clearer about who you’re targeting made a difference in my case. If you’re struggling with low-quality leads, maybe tighten your angle and speak directly to singles who are actually looking for something real.
Curious to hear what others here have experienced. Did tweaking your Online Singles Ad approach change the quality of your leads too?
