John CenaParticipantI’ve been wondering this for a while now. When it comes to dating offers, does the ad format really make that big of a difference, or is it more about the audience and timing?
When I first started exploring Dating Advertising Campaigns, I honestly thought any decent-looking ad would do the job. But it didn’t take long to realize that some formats just don’t connect the same way. I saw decent impressions, but clicks and conversions were all over the place.
One thing that confused me was choosing between banner ads, native ads, and push notifications. Banner ads felt too easy to ignore. I ran a few, and while they looked clean, people just seemed to scroll past them. Native ads, on the other hand, blended better into the content. They didn’t scream “ad,” which actually helped with engagement. I noticed people were more curious and clicked more often.
Push ads were a bit surprising. I didn’t expect much, but they actually worked well for quick attention. The downside is they can feel a bit intrusive if not done right. Timing and message matter a lot there.
From my experience, it’s less about picking one “best” format and more about testing what fits your audience. Native ads felt more natural, push ads grabbed attention fast, and banners were okay for visibility but not great for action.
If you’re just starting out, I’d say try at least two formats side by side and see what sticks. The small differences in how people interact with each format can really change your results.
