Do push ads work for adult advertising campaigns?

I’ve been wondering this for a while, so I figured I’d ask here. Has anyone actually seen good results using push ads in adult traffic? I keep hearing mixed opinions, and it’s hard to tell what’s real versus just noise.

When I first started testing push traffic, I honestly thought it would be an easy win. Cheap clicks, fast setup, and a lot of volume. But after running a few campaigns, things didn’t feel as simple. The traffic came in, sure, but conversions were all over the place. Some days looked decent, and others were just a waste of budget.

What confused me the most was figuring out whether the issue was the traffic itself or how I was setting things up. I tried different creatives, played with angles, and even changed landing pages. One thing I noticed is that push ads seem very sensitive to how catchy your first impression is. If the headline or image doesn’t grab attention instantly, people just ignore it.
